Re-rendering exterior of bungalow. Half flat/half pebble-dash.

Excellent finish. Had 3x quotes before choosing Will. Chose Will as had seen him working in the area and was impressed with the way he quietly got on with his work - wasn't disappointed. He gets on with it with minimum of fuss. Very clean and tidy and the rubbish went on the last day when he said it would. Would highly recommend.

Mr Bell rendered the front and side of my garage and bedroom above. A large area requiring scaffolding. Prior to this he removed all of the old render, a task which required enormous effort due to some of the render being difficult to remove, as evidence by his having broken two kango chisels.

Mr Bells quality of work was of a very high standard, and i would have no problem with prospective clients of his coming to view the end result. He always arrived on site as scheduled and left it in a clean and tidy state. Mr Bell comes highly recommended.

Last here Mr Bell carried out work to the ground floor dining area of my house. The work comprised of stripping plaster from the lower part of one wall, applying waterproof render and finishing with plasterboard with set coat.

Mr Bell's work was high quality and has shown no defects in the months since. His charge was in line with his written quotation obtained in competition. He attended to carry out the work punctually as arranged. He provided protection to floors and furniture and cleaned and cleared properly after each day's work.

After contacting a builder i know to ask if he could do some plastering for me, he explained that he was not a specialist in this area and eagerly recommended Bell Plastering. I telephoned Mr Bell and he was most obliging in arranging a day to carry out the work. He was very punctual and swiftly got on with the job. He worked extremely hard and only paused briefly for refreshment. The quality of work was 1st class and the site was left clean and tidy when finished. I was only too pleased to pay him immediately for a price that i was more than satisfied with. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Bell Plastering.

Damp-proofing Lounge and external render repairs.

I employed Bell Plastering to treat the damp in the lounge of my detached property. This involved removal of the internal plaster back to the brickwork, application of a waterproof tanking, dry-lining and plastering. Additionally, grinding out and re-rendering a number of cracks in the rendered finish on the outside of the property.

I was impressed with the quality of workmanship at each stage and the finish achieved. Having just finished redecorating the affected areas, i can see that the repairs have blended in well with the original walls.

I found Will both personable and reliable. He started the work when agreed and completed it in good time despite the unfavourable weather. The work areas were left tidy each evening and all debris was removed at the end of the job.

I obtained 3 quotes and decided to use bell, based on a combination of confidence in his apparent level of knowledge and willingness to discuss various methods, and a competitive quote. I would not hesitate to use their services again.
